The hottest months, with temperatures often exceeding 35°C. The sea is warm and calm excellent for diving and snorkelling. This is also festival season, with Sauti za Busara (music festival) in February. Book early if you plan to attend.

Heavy downpours are common, especially in April. Some roads become muddy and difficult to navigate a 4x4 is highly recommended. Many beachfront hotels close for renovation.
